Selena Gomez is back on the set of season two of Only Murders in the Building, the Hulu show where she plays one-third of a crime-solving crew of residents of a fancy New York City apartment building, and we're back feeling major coat envy.
If you are a fan of the show, you'd know her character, Mabel, is known for her fabulous coats. In the first season, she donned a citrus orange cropped faux fur coat to wander the streets of the city listening to true crime podcasts, and it looks like the coat train isn't stopping for season two. In some new pics snapped of Selena on set, she wears not one, not two, but three killer coats.
First, is an acid green belted faux fur coat from Proenza Schouler, which Selena-as-Mabel pairs with a patterned shirt, wide black trousers, and lug sole loafers.
The second is a classic brown teddy coat, which reaches nearly to Selena's ankles for extra winter warmth and is worn with white pants, black wedge boots from UGG, black leather gloves, and a chestnut brown scarf.
Finally, we got yet another glimpse at a super cool winter coat via the black and grey swirl-print down puffer Selena (also from UGG) was spotted in, which looks equally fashion-forward and cozy and is worn with what appears to be cashmere pants and a matching hoodie, plus a chunky cream-colored scarf.
We're not sure of the brand behind Selena's second coat, but there's really something for everyone in these behind-the-scenes looks, no matter your winter style. The brown teddy coat can take you from class to dinner to a fancy evening out, while the lime faux fur adds both edge and glam to literally any outfit, even pajamas. And there's nothing cozier than a big down puffer when the temperature drops, so we're happy to see Selena-as-Mabel is staying warm while she, Oliver, and Charles investigate yet another mystery and try to keep themselves out of trouble — even if season one's cliffhanger suggests otherwise.
While we eagerly for season two, especially knowing these looks are part of the storyline, you can channel your inner Sel/Mabel with our picks below:
