Teen Vogue Summit once again successfully welcomed changemakers, leaders, and pop culture icons to a day of special discussions and inspiration over the weekend.

On Saturday, November 23, hundreds of attendees flooded into NYA Studios in Los Angeles, California to take part in the annual event that celebrates Teen Vogue's legacy as a brand that's become a leading voice for younger generations. The event had big names including Demi Lovato, Jordan Chiles, Alex Consani, Latto, The Summer I Turned Pretty cast, and more.

When attendees weren't watching keynote speakers and performers, they were roaming around the area for photo opportunities, food trucks, networking with Teen Vogue editors, and getting free take-home swag from the event sponsors.

Ahead of the doors officially opening to general admission, Teen Vogue welcomed premier pass holders to a morning breakfast and special panel presented by U by Kotex. Joining Teen Vogue's Features Director Brittney McNamara was OB/GYN at Northwestern Medical, Dr. Sabina Spigner, along with teenage designer, influencer, and entrepreneur Kheris Rogers.

The panel, which was officially titled "#GetReal: How to Navigate the Sometimes Helpful, Sometimes Harmful World of Women's Health on Social Media,” spoke about the normalization periods and the menstrual cycle, along with fighting against misinformation that has plagued women's health. On the one hand, speaking openly about periods has led many people — including Rogers — to feel less alone, but the increased conversations surrounding periods can lead to misinformation. Rogers said that she feels more comfortable taking time to herself while on her period, instead of just “pushing through” like she's always been taught.

After the panel, attendees — including Dr. Spigner — got to utilize the period confessionals wall set up by U by Kotex, along with the special restrooms created by the brand. The prompts on the mirrored wall encouraged people to write out their period experiences, including advice to first-timers.

Teen Vogue Summit also partnered with Planned Parenthood this year to continue their education on reproductive rights and promote sexual health. With more than 600 clinics nationwide, Planned Parenthood has continued to provide safe and accessible care to those who need it, despite the current political climate attacking reproductive rights.

Attendees were given special free tote bags that said “Bans off our bodies."

And if all the goodies and inspiring activations weren't enough, Kristen Noel Crawley sat down with Teen Vogue Features Director Brittney McNamara to give golden financial advice. The beauty mogul started KNC Beauty in 2016 — a brand that offers sustainably chic products — and it is now considered one of the premiere companies catering to Gen A.

In between listening to speakers, getting a tarot card reading, and a fresh blowout, people were encouraged to take advantage of the food trucks for lunch. Teen Vogue had The Lime Truck, LA Donut, and Vurger Guyz to provide delicious food of all types throughout the day.
