Vera Papisova is an award-winning journalist and was the former wellness/trauma editor for Teen Vogue, with a focus on bodies, feelings and relationships. She was the first Teen Vogue editor to publish a same-sex kiss and is the founder of the first sexual assault awareness campaign at a Condé Nast publication called #NotYourFault. Her work spans sexual and reproductive health, mental health, trauma, drug education, and identity-based human rights. In addition to copy-editing medical journal articles and research papers as an editor’s assistant for Massachusetts General Hospital, Papisova has written for Women’s Health, GQ, Vogue and Vice.
