It's no secret that beauty is having a moment. From the looks on the hit HBO show Euphoria to those that take on corrupt governments, there's a lot to experiment with and deconstruct. What better time to further the conversation than NYFW? With the shows in full swing and the attendees bringing their best fits, there are so many highlights to take in, including the best looks and moments. Your brain might want to blow a fuse from all the curated squares and fun BTS Instagram stories (you should be following along with us at @tvstyle), but we've overloaded on all the good details so you don't have to. Marc Jacobs
This season was all about individuality - which spoke through everything from the clothing to the hair and make-up. Pat McGrath devised 60 unique make-up looks inspired by a whole cast of characters (Jane Fonda, Barbara Streisand, Twiggy). The looks were all about "an idealized interpretation of real life." McGrath explains, "There is a nod to the past and future. What’s great is taking the looks that come from the past but modernizing them.". Rhinestones, cellophane, and glitter were used throughout to our delight.

Maryam Nassir Zadeh
Having scrunchie fatigue? Give yours an update with a long scarf that catches the wind ever so slightly as you stroll along. Maryam Nassir Zadeh excels at making noteworthy what others may pass over, and we're already calling the scrunchie scarf the next big thing to have come spring and summer 2020. Let your prints clash for some extra fun.

Proenza Schouler
The low ponytail gets tied up this season at Proenza Schouler. The collection provides a minimalist perspective on the 80's. The hair was clean and slicked back in the front, and when the models rounded the corner, a straight, blunt, wrapped-up ponytail could be seen.

Pyer Moss
Eyes were the talk of the town last night at Pyer Moss’s Collection 3 show. The models were breathtaking, with statement eye makeup inspired by '70s rock ‘n roll glam. Celebrity makeup artist Daniel Sallstrom was the mastermind behind the bold beauty looks that captivated the audience. He used UOMA Beauty’s Black Magic palettes, which have amazing pigments that stood out on the melanin of the models. Not only is UOMA a black-owned beauty brand, but it was the brand's first time partnering with a designer for New York Fashion Week. For UOMA Beauty founder Sharon Chuter it was a “no brainer” to work with Pyer Moss on her first NYFW show. “Kerby is all about the culture, and he stands for something. As a brand, [UOMA] stands for something,” Chuter tells Teen Vogue. “There aren’t many black designers showing at fashion week, [so] being able to show our support is so important. We’re supporting the culture and we’re here for the culture.”

There was an array of braids on the runway at Pyer Moss, including cornrows and box braids. They looked bomb, but what stood out was the jewelry that lived on the braids. Jewelry designer Johnny Nelson created hair beads featuring the faces of 21 black women in music, including Nina Simone and Rihanna. “Throughout the entire process, I strictly jammed to the artists I was creating, so I was able to keep the visuals of them in my head," Nelson said in a statement describing his design process. "I even bought a mannequin head so I could get a better understanding of the hair bead placements, sizing and weight.” Not one detail was missed during the entire show.

Rosie Assoulin
More is well, more! And Rosie Assoulin did it tastefully well. The overall looks proved that you can top off your beachy, flowy frocks (oversize straw hats included) with fun, bright eyeliner. The simple yet bold designs were the definition of a new type of maximalism, which we like to call "minimal maximalism."

Mansur Gavriel
We have our heads in the clouds with this Mansur Gavriel look (in a good way). The brand gave new meaning to matching your makeup to your ensemble, and we're here for it. Most of the collection had monochrome beauty and clothing moments, with models sporting yellow eye shadow with their yellow looks, but this was our hands-down favorite iteration.
